Family's gone looking for gold

We took the kids to Busby Arizona in search of gold. Down in the mines we went. We were happy/lucky to find Grayson's shoe in the dark mine tunnels a mile below ground.

First Day of School 08

Dropping off Chase and Addison at school on the first day. Clearly it was harder for us than the kids.

Adventures in Parenting

Just a quick note and some pictures of the lastest family fun! Mom and dad were busy finishing a project (organizing toys) and the big kids got distracted from the "Daring Duo".They were at it again making the biggest mess possible as quitely and as quickly as they could. This time someone (mom) left a box of food coloring where they thought it would be safe just out of their reach. (on the kitchen counter) Suddenly we heard the all to familiar "oh no ooooh noooo OOOH NOOO!" Upon arrival to the scene Emme was squatting down by the fridge and Grayson took off like a lighting bolt leaving only a trail of blue and green on the carpet and walls. What a beautiful array of colors it is. We will be enjoying our new art for as long as our carpet is will us.(a long time) Grayson made it down the hall into our room and then turned a half circle back to our bathroom. Truely he could smell the new scent of the rug. A rug that had been saved for a long time and put down to finally use less that twenty four hours earlier. It now has the added decor of blue and green to match the carpet as well as the bathroom walls. We now know that food coloring penetrates wall paint and can not be wiped off. Just food for thought. Our feet and hands are still colored from trying to to clean up. Actually Grayson and Emme drank so much of the food coloring that they are now producing it themselves if you know what I mean. By the way it still stains anything it touches after it has been digested. This was also a wonderful new discovery.
